Day 1 : Fly to Siem Reap

Fly overnight to Siem Reap

Day 2 : Arrive & Explore

On arrival you will be met by your expert tour guide and transferred to your hotel. You have the rest of the day to explore.

Day 3 : Floating Villages

Travel to Tonle Sap and board a boat to view the floating villages. After a picnic lunch, continue to the hidden temple of Beng Mealea. Return to Siem Reap and dine at the stylish Nest Angkor Restaurant. (B,L,D)

Day 4 : Temples of Angkor

Rise early to begin exploring the incredible ruins of Angkor. Begin with the unique Ta Prohm, before visiting the fortified city of Angkor Thom. Continue to Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Later visit the glorious Angkor Wat. (B,L)

Day 5 : Discover Phnom Penh

Fly to Phnom Penh. Discover the splendid Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. Later, visit the National Museum. (B,L)

Day 6 : Tuol Sleng Museum

Visit the Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crimes and Wat Phnom Temple. Later, transfer to the airport and fly to Saigon. (B,L)

Day 7 : Discover Saigon

Tour the city of Saigon, starting with the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Continue to the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Travel to Cholon where you will view the Thien Hau Pagoda before visiting the lively Ben Thanh Markets. That evening enjoy a Luke Nguyen-inspired three course dinner at Xu Restaurant (B,L,D)

Day 8 : Mekong Delta

Drive to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta for a sampan ride along the palm-lined canals and stroll through a local village before returning to Saigon. (B,L)

Day 9 : Cu Chi Tunnels

The following day, travel to the colourful Cao Dai head temple at Tay Ninh. In the afternoon visit the astonishing Communist guerrilla tunnel system at Cu Chi. (B,L)

Day 10 : The Marble Mountains

Fly to Danang. Upon arrival transfer to the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Hoi An, stopping to visit the Marble Mountains. That evening, dine at historic and luxurious Ancient Faifo restaurant. (B,L,D)

Day 11 : Discover Hoi An

Travel by boat along the Thu Bon River and enjoy a cooking lesson at the Red Bridge Restaurant. Return to Hoi An for a walking tour of the narrow and ancient streets, visiting an old merchant’s home, traditional Hoi An market, a local Chinese temple and the Japanese Bridge. (B,L)

Day 12 : Explore Hue

Travel to Hue via the Hai Van Tunnel. Take a cyclo ride and visit the Imperial Citadel and the Purple Forbidden City. Sail along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda. That evening enjoy local delicacies at Ancient Hue Restaurant. (B,L,D)

Day 13 : Fly to Hanoi

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage listed Royal Tomb of Minh Mang, before transferring to the airport. (B,L)

Day 14 : Discover Hanoi

Begin your Hanoi city tour at Ho Chi Minh Quarter, where you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed Sep-Dec), Stilt House, Ho Chi Minh Museum and One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the serene Temple of Literature, before enjoying lunch at KOTO restaurant. Later, view a performance of the world famous Water Puppets. That night you will dine at the iconic Press Club. (B,L,D)

Day 15 : Halong Bay Sunset

This morning travel to Halong Bay, regarded as the Jewel in the Crown of Vietnam. Spend the night on board, relaxing and watching the sun set over the bay. (B,L,D)

Day 16 : Halong Bay Cruise

Continue cruising around Halong Bay in the morning before you disembark your junk boat and return to Hanoi. (B)

Day 17 : Fly Hanoi to the UK

Fly to the UK, arriving home later
