Days 1-2 : Fly to Kunming
Fly overnight to Kunming via Hong Kong, also known as the ‘City of Eternal Spring’.
Day 3 : Kunming & Stone forest
Enjoy a full day tour of the UNESCO listed Stone Forest where the huge limestone columns form surreal shapes and images. (B,L)
Day 4 : Fly to Dali
Fly to the enchanting town of Dali. Explore the Ancient Quarter, visit the Three Pagodas and take a cruise on Erhai Lake. In the evening, stroll down Foreigners’ Street and soak in the lively atmosphere. (B,L)
Day 5 : Drive to Lijiang
Visit Xizhou village and the local market. Drive to Lijiang, UNESCO World Heritage site, and Black Dragon Pool. (B,L)
Day 6 : Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
Visit the impressive Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which soars to a height of 5,500m. Take a chairlift to explore one of the highest meadows (4,500m) to view the amazing scenery before touring the Baisha Frescoes and the Old Quarter. (B,L)
Day 7 : Tiger Leaping Gorge
Visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the most dramatic and deepest gorges in the world and enjoy the breathtaking scenery before continuing to Zhongdian. (B,L)
Days 8-9 : Discover Zhongdian
Enjoy a visit to the Baishui Terrace (B,L). The next day visit the Songshanlin Monastery. (B,L)
Day 10 : Travel to Kunming
Return to Kunming. (B,L)
Days 11-12 : Fly Kunming to UK
Fly to the UK, arriving home the following day. (B)
