Lakes and Islands of Undiscovered Croatia

Day 1 London – Zagreb
Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® transports you from your front door to London Heathrow Airport for your direct, scheduled Croatian Airlines flight to Zagreb. On arrival this evening, you will be transferred to the 4★ Palace Hotel where we enjoy a welcome drink and supper.

Day 2 Zagreb
After breakfast this morning, there will be a sightseeing guided tour of Zagreb. You will have some free time for lunch before we depart this afternoon for a guided bus excursion to Samobor where there will be time to taste the famous Kremšnita cake. We return back to our hotel this evening for dinner.

Day 3 Plitvice Lakes
This morning we depart towards Plitvice lakes where there will be plenty of time to walk around this UNESCO protected national wonder with a guide, with breathtaking views of the 16 lakes connected by waterfalls. There will be leisure time at the national park for lunch before we are transferred to our 3* Hotel Jezero this evening for dinner.

Day 4 Split – Vis
We transfer from Plitvice to Split this morning where we embark the MV Pacific – our home for the next seven nights. Once you are settled into your cabins we set sail towards the Island of Vis, one of the most particular Islands of the Adriatic, and the closest one to the Italian coast. Vis was closed to outsiders until as recently as 1991, with its natural beauties being hidden from the world and for this reason, the Island of Vis today still offers unspoilt beauty and is the perfect destination for people who enjoy true leisure, good wine and a slow pace. We overnight in the port of Vis.

Day 5 Vis – Primosten
After breakfast, we sail towards the small town of Primošten, renowned for its particular peninsular shape. The best views in the old town are reserved for the St George’s church and towns cemetery; and seeing the neighbouring islets of Smokvica and Maslinovik will leave you in awe. The town is renowned for its grape wines that grow out of stone; in fact, these unusual vineyards are under consideration to become a UNESCO Heritage site. We overnight in Primošten.

Day 6 Promisten – Krka National Park – Sibenik
This morning we cruise towards Skradin, a small town situated near the Krka National Park. The National Park is mostly known for its beautiful waterfalls located on the Krka river, but when one considers the flora and fauna to be found here, this park is a treasure chest, especially for ornithologists who can enjoy over 222 bird species in this area. The most well known waterfall is Skradinski buk, named after the nearby town, and it’s considered to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Europe. After we have visited the park by boat, we will be transferred to the Bibich winery, a local family owned winery where we enjoy a wine tasting. In the afternoon, we leave Skradin and continue towards the town of Šibenik, where we overnight.

Day 7 Sibenik – Zadar
This morning we awake in Šibenik, one of the oldest native Croatian towns on the Adriatic. Following breakfast, your local guide will take you on a walking tour of this historic town. Explore this charming town and its rich and deep history that is one thousand years old and has witnessed all the major forces that have tried to conquer these parts of Europe. We sail towards Zadar this afternoon and overnight.

Day 8 Zadar – Sali
This morning we enjoy a guided walk through this wonderful town. Zadar has a very interesting history and the area was under Italian occupation from 1920-1947 which left a significant mark on the local dialect and culture. In 1944, the Croatian Partisans took over Zadar which caused a lot of the Italian population to abandon the town, diminishing its population by thousands of people. Today, Zadar is one of the most popular tourist destinations and the fifth largest town in Croatia. This afternoon we set sail for Sali and overnight.

Day 9 Sali – Kornati – Zlarin
Sali is situated on the northeast coast of the island, with a thousand years old tradition. It is a place surrounded with natural parks, ancient olive trees, and a rich cultural and religious inheritance from the early centuries of Christianity. We set sail from Sali towards our next port of call by passing the Kornati National Park, also known as the Stomorski islands. Set in an area of about 320 square kilometres, the Kornarti are the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean sea. Once we have passed the Kornati, we arrive in Zlarin where we overnight. Tonight we enjoy the Captain’s farewell dinner, with local wine and entertainment included.

Day 10 Zlarin – Trogir – Split
The small Island of Zlarin, with only 276 residents during the winter, is famous for its red coral. From Zlarin, we set sail towards the beautiful Trogir, a small town known for its romantic atmosphere, whose walls are protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. On this short stop, do not miss out on walking around the walls and stopping by the Cathedral portal – a magnificent work of art done by the Croatian artist Master Radovan. We set sail for Split later on today where we overnight.

Day 11 Split – London
An early start this morning, as we disembark for our return Croatian Airlines flight via Zagreb to London Heathrow Airport. On arrival, our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your front door.
