New Zealand Coastal Discovery With Tasmania And Australia

Day 1-2 London, In Flight
Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® transports you to London Heathrow Airport and your scheduled Qantas flight to Sydney.

Day 3 Sydney
An early morning arrival in Sydney, New South Wales, where our coach will transfer you to our hotel, the well-appointed Parkroyal Darling Harbour, for the next two nights. The hotel is close to Sydney Harbour, Circular Quay and the main shopping areas and is well placed to walk to the old Rocks area, a cluster of some of the country’s oldest buildings in quaint streets of small houses with plentiful cafes to refresh the explorer. The remainder of the day is free. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening.

Day 4 Sydney
This morning you will enjoy an orientation tour of Sydney, taking in some of the city’s famous icons including the Opera House, Harbour Bridge before returning to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to make your own discoveries of this cosmopolitan and colourful city with its beautiful landscape and wealth of culture.

Day 5 Sydney
A leisurely start of the day to further explore and perhaps visit the famous Bondi Beach before we transfer to embark MS Oosterdam this afternoon with plenty of time to settle into your cabin before dinner this evening. Be sure to be up on deck when we set sail early this evening, passing the iconic Opera House with fantastic photo opportunities.

Day 6 At Sea
A leisurely day at sea provides the perfect opportunity to settle into life onboard, relax on deck and join in one of the many onboard activities.

Day 7 Melbourne
Early morning arrival in Melbourne, the dynamic capital city of Victoria, where delightful colonial buildings sit side by side with dazzling skyscrapers. Old -fashioned trams criss-cross the city and there are Victorian mansions, quaint cottages, old jails and sheep stations among the many buildings open to the public.

Day 8 At Sea
Whilst there is a lot to do on board, why not simply relax on deck and watch the world go by. This cruise is also a culinary adventure with restaurants and menus to suit every taste. Sumptuous outdoor buffets, exotic Asian cuisine, fresh seafood, mouth-watering lamb, sizzling steaks and � la carte dinners, light meals and healthy snacks are all on offer.

Day 9 Hobart, Tasmania
We arrive in Tasmania, where there will be a choice of excursions available for you to discover the diversity and beauty of Australia’s only island state.

Days 10-11 At sea
As we cruise towards New Zealand, we may glimpse some of the world’s most rarest penguins or spot a pod of bottle-nosed dolphins.

Day 12 Milford Sound – Cruising Fiordland National Park
The region of New Zealand’s ice-formed fjords has a natural magic with cascading waterfalls, luxuriant forests and towering peaks that rise dramaticallyout of the water. We spend our day gently cruising these waters and experiencing the stunning scenery and amazing wildlife including the majesty of Milford Sound, towering Mitre Peak, plunging waterfalls, bottlenose and dusky dolphins, fur seals, Fiordland crested penguins.

Day 13 Port Chalmers (Dunedin)
Early arrival in Port Chalmers for Dunedin, the friendly city of slate and tin-roofed houses of spires, chimneys and churches and glorious Victorian and Edwardian buildings that lie at the head of a long fjord. Perhaps visit the Royal Albatross Centre, where these huge seabirds rest lazily on the wind like kits. Early evening sailing.

Day 14 Akaroa (Christchurch)
Today we arrive in Alaroa on the Banks Peninsula, near Christchurch, with a distinct French colonial history. Keep an eye out for the penguins, fur seals and rate Hector’s Dolphin that reside in the area. Early evening sailing.

Day 15 Wellington
We arrive in New Zealand’s compact, cosmopolitan capital, nestled between the harbour and steep, forest-clad hills. The revamped waterfront area leads from the cruise dock at the eastern end of town to the ‘must-see’ Te Papa museum in the west, which showcases the history of New Zealand in many visually stunning and thought-provoking ways.

Day 16 Napier
We arrive in Napier this morning, famed for its Art Deco buildings, which were built following a great earthquake and fi re in 1931. Hawkes Bay is one of New Zealand’s leading wine producing regions, with more than 50 leading wineries, including the Mission Estate.

Day 17 Tauranga (Roturua)
We arrive this morning in Tauranga, the fastest growing provincial area in New Zealand, boasting an abundance of pristine beaches, blooming orchards and prominent hills. The region is rich in Maori history and the hot springs of Rotorua, originally used for cooking and healing, can be visited on an optional excursion. Early evening sailing.

Day 18 At Sea
Today is at leisure to further explore this unforgettable city with its beautiful landscape, wealth of culture and enviable lifestyle. This evening you may choose to take a short ferry ride across the Bay to the famous Doyles seafood restaurant, where its enviable waterfront setting is a favourite for locals and visitors alike.

Day 19 Auckland – In flight
An early morning arrival in Auckland. We disembark and enjoy an orientation tour of Auckland, known to Aucklanders as the ‘City of Sails’ bounded by two harbours, the Waitmata and Manukau, prior to transferring to the airport for our scheduled flight back to London Heathrow, via Sydney.

Day 20 London
Arrival at London Heathrow where our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your own front door.
