Days 1-2 : Fly to Delhi

Fly overnight to Delhi, India’s capital city.

Day 3 : Discover Delhi

Sightseeing today begins with a visit to the Red Fort and a walk through Chandni Chowk bazaar to Jama Masjid, which is India’s largest mosque. You will also have a brief stop at India Gate, visit Narayan Hindu Temple, Humayun’s Tomb and Connaught Markets. (B,L)

Day 4 : Agra

Travel to Agra, visiting Sikandra to see the marble tomb of Akbar, which is an important Mughal architectural masterpiece built in 1605. (B,L)

Day 5 : Taj Mahal

Rise early to view the impressive Taj Mahal in all its glory at sunrise. Also visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (B,L)

Day 6 : Travel to Jaipur

Travel to Jaipur, stopping at the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri built in 1569 by Emperor Akbar. (B,L)

Day 7 : Hawa Mahal & Amber Fort

Begin with a photo stop at Hawa Mahal Palace of the Winds before continuing to Amber Fort. Visit City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the local bazaar in Choti Choper. (B,L)

Day 8 : Drive to Delhi

Travel to Delhi and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. (B,L)

Day 9 : Fly Delhi to UK

Fly to the UK, arriving home later the same or following day. (B)
