We recommend a free day to really enjoy the city, perhaps with a visit to the Temple of Heaven, or the Summer Palace? Or take a thrilling rickshaw ride through the ancient Hutongs.

A flight takes you to the charming city of Chengdu, home of the spicy Szechuan sauce.

Early next morning you’ll visit the Giant Panda Breeding and research Centre to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural environment.
