Devon Short Break

Day 1 Torquay
We begin with Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® to the Grand Hotel Torquay or the Imeprial Hotel Torquay. On arrival you will be welcomed with tea/coffee. The remainder of the day is free to settle in before dinner is served this evening.

Day 2 South Devon Railway – Dartmoor National Park
Today we travel by coach to Buckfastleigh where we begin our excursion on the South Devon Railway to Totnes Littlehempston. Built in 1872, the preserved railway runs alongside the stunning valley of the River Dart.
Upon our arrival in Totnes we will re-board our coach and continue our journey into the Dartmoor National Park. We will make stops at scenic towns and villages along the way allowing you time to take those all in important photos of the beautiful scenery that surrounds you. Later this afternoon we will return to our hotel.
Please note: There is a 10-15 minute walk on the flat from Totnes Littlehempston station to Totnes main railway station where we will meet our coach.

Day 3 Torquay
Today you are free to make your own discoveries of this fabulous seaside resort, often referred to as the “Queen of the Riviera”. Torquay contrasts sandy beaches and scenery mixed with culture and heritage. Attractions include the inspiring caves of Kents Cavern and the World War II slipways of Beacon Bay.

Day 4 Brixham – Paignton
Today we will visit and have time to explore two of the most well-known and unique towns of the ‘English Riviera’. Firstly we head for Brixham, a charming port town centralised by its harbour area. The town has a wealth of independent shops and restaurants along with a number of small museums and art galleries.
Following time here we continue to Paignton, a traditional seaside resort, famous for its golden sandy beaches, coves and vibrant pier. The town is also home to one of Britain’s leading zoos, Paignton Zoo. Later this afternoon we return to our hotel, where we enjoy our final dinner this evening.

Day 5 Torquay
This morning we bid farewell to Torquay. Titan transport will collect you at 10.00am for your return journey home to your own front door.
