Day 1 London – Lisbon – Arraiolos
Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® transports you from your front door to London Heathrow Airport for your scheduled Air Portugal flight to Lisbon. On arrival enjoy a guided coach orientation tour of Lisbon discovering the city’s magnificent avenues and squares and past glories of exploration. We then continue to the Pousada da Assuncao in the delightful town of Arraiolos for a three-night stay on a half-board basis. Situated in beautiful countryside this former convent is an excellent example of traditional and modern concepts of Portuguese architecture.

Day 2 Arraiolos
Enjoy an included walking tour of Arraiolos this morning, discovering the town’s history and famous carpet making tradition. In the afternoon, an optional excursion is available to Evora, a UNESCO world heritage city that dates back to Roman times.

Day 3 Estremoz – Borba – Vila Viçosa
Enjoy an included fascinating full day guided excursion to the marble towns of Estremoz, Borba, Vila Viçosa. Portugal is the second largest exporter of marble in the world after Italy and this region is responsible for 85% of the marble produced in Portugal.

Day 4 Arraiolos – Vila Pouca da Beira
Today we journey north through beautiful countryside and charming towns and villages to Vila Pouca da Beira. Our base for three nights is the Pousada Do Convento Do Desagravo, built in the 18th Century. Enjoy stunning vistas of the Serra da Estrela and Serra do Acor mountain range.

Day 5 Serra da Estrela
A day at leisure. Perhaps join a full day optional excursion into the stunning mountains of Serra Da Estrela.

Day 6 Vila Pouca da Beira
Today is reserved for leisure time. Perhaps take a walk in the delightful countryside, relax by the pool.

Day 7 Vila Pouca da Beira Viana do Castelo
We continue north travelling through the Roman city of Viseu. Arrive at Pousada do Monte de Santa Luzia overlooking the town of Viana do Castelo for a three night stay. You will be in awe at the impressive structure that affords one of the most magnificent and beautiful landscapes of Portugal.

Day 8 Viana do Castelo
Join an included excursion around Portugal’s most northerly district, Viana do Castelo. You will visit Ponte de Lima and Ponte de Barca the birth place of the famous discoverer Ferdinand Magellan.

Day 9 Oporto
Join an included excursion to Oporto, the city that gave its name to Port wine and sits at the end of the famous Douro River. With its cobbled streets and impressive buildings Portugal’s second city never fails to impress.

Day 10 Viana do Castelo – Oporto – London
After breakfast you transfer to Oporto airport for your Air Portugal flight back to London Gatwick where our staff will greet and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your front door
