Day 1 London – In flight
Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® transports you from your front door to London Heathrow Airport and our direct, scheduled overnight Virgin Atlantic flight to Delhi.

Day 2 Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, we transfer to the 5★ Hyatt Regency. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 Delhi
Our discovery of Delhi, a city whose many former capitals conjoin to create the vast expanse of wonder we see today, begins with Old Delhi; Raj Ghat, the serene memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and site of his cremation and Jama Masjid. Continuing to New Delhi, marvel at all 234ft of the striking hand-carved Qutab Minar and grand red and white Tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayan, considered one of the architectural forerunners to the Taj Mahal. We conclude at the India Gate.

Day 4 Delhi – Agra
We depart Delhi for Agra, situated on the banks of the Yamuna River and a city celebrated for its rich concentration of magnificent Mughal-era buildings and its most recognised icon, the Taj Mahal. We arrive in the afternoon at the 4★ Gateway Hotel.

Day 5 Agra
We arise early for what promises to be the most wondrously, breathtaking experience to be imagined. At sunrise we view the architectural marvel and ‘love poem in marble’, the Taj Mahal. 20,000 16th century craftsmen were occupied for 17 years to create, for Shah Jahan, a fitting memorial for his queen Mumtaz Mahal. Later this afternoon is the splendid walled city of Agra Fort.

Day 6 Agra – Jaipur
Our journey continues west to Jaipur, stopping en route at Fatehpur Sikri. The collection of well-preserved, graceful buildings within the ‘Ghost City’ were once the bustling political capital of the Mughal empire for a little over a decade before the complex lay virtually unknown for hundreds of years. We arrive in Jaipur and the 5★ Le Meridien hotel.

Day 7 Jaipur
The vast Amber Fort, a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace with time-ravaged walls, holds a prominent position overlooking Maota Lake. This afternoon our exploration of Jaipur takes us to the former royal residence of the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, home to the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. We drive past the impressive façade of the Hawa Mahal ‘Palace of the Winds’, a five-storied example of Rajput architecture with 953 sandstone windows.

Day 8 Jaipur – Jodhpur
Our trip continues to Jodhpur, where we stay for two nights at the 4★ Gateway Hotel, Jodhpur.

Day 9 Jodhpur
Jodhpur’s vividly-painted houses make the skyline surrounding Mehrangarh Fort, a sea of blue. Situated on a 125m high hill, it is considered one of the most impressive and formidable structures in Rajasthan and envelops magnificent palaces. We conclude our tour at the Jaswant Thada, a cluster of 19th century royal cenotaphs in white marble.

Day 10 Jodhpur – Udaipur
We leave Jodhpur for Udaipur; en route we will enter the remote valley of the Aravalli range and Ranakpur, renowned for its Jain temple. We continue to Udaipur and our hotel, the 4★ Ramada Resort.

Day 11 Udaipur
A morning tour awaits us, of the ‘City of Lakes’; beginning at the 18th century City Palace, housing the Palace of Lord Krishna. Continue to the Jagdish Temple and the beautiful gardens of Sahelion Ki Bari, with fountains, pools and marble elephants creating a wondrous serene escape. This afternoon (if water levels permit) we take a boat ride on Lake Pichola where the dazzling island palace of Jag Niwas, is beautifully located.

Day 12 Udaipur – Ahmedabad
We depart Rajasthan for Gujarat, heading south to Ahmedabad the former state capital. We arrive at the 4★ Gateway Hotel.

Day 13 Ahmedabad
We have included a tour of Ahmedabad this morning, including the imposing structure of Jumma Masjid. The Shaking Minarets of the Sidi Bashir Mosque highlight a unique construction phenomenon, where shaking of one minaret causes the other to shake, but the connecting dome is not disturbed. The beautiful 16th century memorial and tomb of Rani Sipri is a gem of feminine delicacy and grace. Our last stop is the Shreyas Folk Museum, housing a wonderful collection of Gujarati arts and handicrafts.

Day 14 Ahmedabad – Bhavnagar
Bhavnagar is our destination today and in the afternoon we arrive at our hotel the 3★ Nilambag Palace.

Day 15 Bhavnagar
An energetic day awaits those who wish to climb around 3900 steps to the top of Shatrunjay Hill. The two summits of the hill are home to some 900 Jain temples and the sculptures that adorn the marble constructions are a feast for the eyes. Alternatively the day is at leisure in your hotel.

Day 16 Bhavnagar – Sasan Gir
We drive to Sasan Gir today, home to the forest and wildlife sanctuary of Gir National Park and the sole location for the remaining population of Asiatic lion. We stay for two nights at the 4★ Fern Gir Forest Resort.

Day 17 Sasan Gir
Today we have arranged an exciting day of wildlife spotting. We will rise early for a morning jeep safari, searching for the local wildlife inhabitants, which include the beautiful Asiatic lion and Indian leopards or the Sloth bear, considered to be Rudyard Kipling’s inspiration for his Jungle Book ‘Baloo’. Antelope and Wild Boar, together with over 300 species of birdlife are present and this afternoon, we enjoy another jeep safari as our final day promises to be a magical experience.

Day 18 Sasan Gir Rajkot – In flight
Our adventure at an end, we transfer to Rajkot Airport for our flight to Mumbai, where we enjoy a last dinner together before our early morning onward Virgin Atlantic flight to London.
