Mara & Laikipia – Kenyan Secrets

This safari provides the perfect opportunity for a three-day stay at Borana Lodge, allowing for total immersion in the life and goings on of a working ranch. Then fly to the Masai Mara which presents an excellent opportunity to view the ‘big five’.

Borana Lodge is a rustic yet luxurious family-run lodge set on a vast, wildlife rich, working cattle ranch on the edge of Laikipia Plateau with panoramic views of Mount Kenya. Due to its location and altitude this lodge is close to a wide diversity of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, cheetahs, antelope and bird species.

Amidst the teeming mass of wildlife, Rekero Camp is ideally situated for the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti through the Masai Mara in Kenya. This camp has a team of professional Masai safari guides and a camp crew which have worked together for years, providing guests with an in-depth and truly memorable Masai Mara experience.
