The Gambia Experience are the only year-round tour operator from the UK to The Gambia and during the main winter season offer several exclusive properties and room types that cannot be found in other UK tour operators' brochures. During the past 24 years the owners, along with their staff, have developed a vast knowledge of The Gambia, during their regular visits to the country, and have built good relationships with hoteliers which has enabled them to now offer many properties or room types exclusively.

This year they are celebrating 24 years of travelling to The Gambia and so really know the country inside out, and although the company has grown considerably during this time, they still continuously strive to provide the high levels of personal service which were the company's founding principles.

The Gambia Experience have also received great recognition during their long operation, in 2003 they were awarded "Appointment to the Order of The Gambia", from the Gambian Government for their longstanding commitment to the country within tourism and in 2007, they were awarded the "Tour Operator of the Year" prize by the Travel Trade Gazette (TTG).
